The less than adequate I was speaking of was the "Search" link, that if you don't realize it you will only search the past week...then after you realize it and go back, you are not allowed to search too quickly without the time lock issue. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />

Yup, you can use Google to search the forum right from the top of the page.

Setting the search timetable is part of the search process. We keep it at the shortest period to reduce the 'hit' on the database. The longer the period, the harder the database system has the work. I just remember to change it to the longest period unless I know when.
