I talked to a guy today about his 98 SR w/ winter package that he is still driving, he said someone told him it was a blown head gasket and he wanted $850 for it for a down payment on another vehicle. He wants to work something out so he can get some cash, like half and he will give me the title or even the truck he said. I'm no expert and it's not stupid hot anymore down here but isn't it bad to be running it? I figure if I can talk him down it could have potential over time to be a good buy. 136xxx, needs tires and a good cleaning inside is all I know currently. He's had it for about a year and paid almost 3 G's and drove it to the coast a few times with no problem which is about 2.5 hrs away.

Any opinions? Thoughts? Thanks
