Thanks for the info. Does any one know what the cut off was in 95 between early and late? I can probably figure out the month in the VIN. I know my manual will give me the info how to check.

Glad you told me. The donor is a 95. Maybe i'll look for a 96. There are a few GEN 2s in the local yards.

If there are any other mods for the GEN 1 you can recommend - i'm all ears. I asked this in my other post about brakes as well.

Thanks again for the info! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />

There's a post where toasty nailed it down to the exact build date you'll have to search that. The original post I think was originated from "stockraider" who was having problems due the flange and got a custom drive shaft fabbed up.

As far as the Sport goes, the OP was infquiring about a Gen1 coil sprung truck which I don't believe will swap over, Although Krazydave says it should, I cold be wrong but no one has done it here, so it's unconfirmed if the coil springs sport axles will swap over my concern looking at it were the trailing arm mounts looked different to me. Anyways, the coil sprung sports never came with the locker, so IMO is not an Ideal donor for a gen I coil spring truck, even if it does fit.
