That car's in good shape for the mileage. I had an 82 - it was a nice car, made reasonable power and had the nice MB glide ride. I don't know how they do it, because it uses normal bearings in the wheels, etc but they just ride nice.

The torque kicks in with the turbo, makes you feel like your accelerating like a champ. Then you look at the speedo and, well - you know.

The MB-Tex will last well after we're gone. I've had several other MBs after that. All were good, but they kind of lost that brick house feel in the new century. Enjoy it!
