I sure wasn't going to use a paint brush and 100% solids epoxy does not spray very well. For the first coat I used the rollers supplied with the kit. The nap was too long and they bunched up a bit.

I rented a floor sander and sanded the first coat smooth. Kind of like when you sand between coats on a car. I spent three days getting it right. I went through in a couple of spots and had to re-coat. And just like a car I used heat lamps and a DA to feather it it.

I used a higher quality short nap roller for the clear coat. That ended up a lot smoother. The only issue in the final coat is the supplied ant slip glass was pretty coarse that sticks up like pimples.

I should have used a thinner final coat. That would have allowed me to use a finer anti skid. In a couple of years when this one needs to be cleaned up I will probably sand the clear coat smooth and put a fresh clear coat of polyaspartic on top.
