Here is my 94 mighty max v6, after we just got done putting a 3" body lift, with 31's.

I want to do a straight axle in front, but I might just buy a new truck with a straight axle before doing this one, but I want advice on getting it taller.

How much lift can I expect doing a spring over in the rear? And what would be the cheapest way to match the height up front? New torsion bars and ball joint spacers? I saw someone here was fabbing spacers for monteros. Let me know if anyone who fabs parts can help me get a list and price of whatever I need. I am not ready to do a solid axle up front yet, but want it taller.

You may be able to re-index the torsion bars, and perhaps change to Gen II Montero upper control arms. You'll really only gain a little. The body lift at least makes way for larger tires.

Thanks yeah, I'm glad I did the body lift for that, but I think about 2" of suspension lift will give me perfect room for 33's, and I will be happy for a while.

Someone else recommended a shackle in the rear, and a crank the bars and trim the bump stops up front. So that I know what size shackle to order, what do you think I should expect out of the torsion bars?

33s or 35s will go on with the 3" lift you've already installed.

35s would really be pushing it. I like a bit more height anyway, and shackles are so cheap and the torsion bars are free.

I don't know exactly where to measure my shackles from, but they look like 3" from center of each hole. So something like this, in 6", would give me 1.5" lift in the rear, correct?

ha ha, I have both one lowered and one 4wd. The 4wd one is new to me ad quite frankly lifting is backwards to what I am use to so i dont have much expierence.

How was the body lift to do?

How long did it take?

Where did u get it from?

I wish canada got the fender flares makes it look way nicer

lol oops... but the body lift was not bad at all... only had to trim some floorboard metal for my clutch, and removed bottom half radiator shroud where it hit fan, everything was like the instructions: http://www.stylintrucks.com/parts/body_lift_kit_-_3-qt-/4421/perfaccessoriesp643023-.aspx

The flares are thin and don't add any width for wider tires. I'm going to remove them from my truck I'm thinking. The mounting point also leave icky oblong holes that I plan to fill in with plated or stainless hardware for the frankentruck look. I'd much rather have had the smooth look.

Without flares and with OD green:

I've located a suitable service body, just have to save $$ and maneuver them around the wife, bills and other responsibilities.
