found an 88 Nissan Hardbody pickup in really nice shape with less than 100k on it.. I will keep you guys updated. looking to get around 2000 for my Kia. was a fun project. if the hardbody falls through, i'll be keeping the kia and pulling the engine in the summer and throwing new rings in it. until it gets sold, i drive it at least once a week. put 200 miles on it yesterday actually. great little truck, i just can't pass up on a decent HB..
So, i bought an 01 Kia Sportage. before i even drove it, i nick-named it The Goat.. it has been just like a goat.. stubbern at every corner...

The hard body style is a nice machine.
I was actually looking at a Pathfinder in that body when I bought the Sportage. Turned around and the Sportage was in the lot across from it. Looked underneath, realized it had the right configuration and took a chance.
2001 Kia Sportage
Warn manual hubs, 2" spacer up front, TJ 105 springs Rav4 shocks, 235/75/15 BFG A/T KOs, Skidplate back to under the T-case, trans cooler, XRC8 winch on custom bumper, Synth winch line, fuel can mount, Rigid D2 Dually overhead lights.

yeah, it is a great frame underneath, but life threw a curveball and i figured i didn't really need an SUV right now..
So, i bought an 01 Kia Sportage. before i even drove it, i nick-named it The Goat.. it has been just like a goat.. stubbern at every corner...

Did you ever get your Kia sold? I couldn't move my '98 and I was only asking $950 for it. Decided to "fix it" and use it through the winter. Kind of glad I've still got it. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

the guy with the hardbody is interested in a straight trade, but he is going through a rough patch in his life. i noticed there are a lot in the area for sale. i'm not opposed to keepin it. hahahaa. it is a great little truck.

Wanna trade for a 2 door? Clean, needs some work, but mechanically it is rock solid, and just a slew of new parts put on...
"Does this part need to be in there?"
1996 Dodge 1500 single cab / short bed, 5.9 4x4; 2" lift (springs not blocks), C.A.I and more mods to come.
