Your correct. The ECU problem isn't with the Weber, it's with the ignition (spark) it self. I used the "fuel missing" analogy to help describe the symptom it was having.

Nick said that the ECU problem would show up with either the fuel injectors (which I don't have) or the ignition system.

I have a new key ignition installed, new Coil, new Dizzy, new fuel pump.

The current symptom (jerking while accelerating)was temporally fixed after installing the new Dizzy and rebuilt ECU, but it only lasted for 20 minutes and then started again.
