Need a Spot

The hose from the reservoir to the PS pump went south after 25 years. The ID of the stock hose measures approx. 22/32". I found bulk transmission hose at NAPA ID 5/8". Can anyone confirm ID of stock hose. Just want to be sure it isn't a metric size. Thanks in advance.
