Hilux overseas models had split parking lights and turn signals in the same housings, so that would be another option for people wanting to move their turn signals to their corner lights. You think it will work on 87 4Runner? It should. The 84-88 trucks and 84-89 4Runners had the same sheet metal from the doors forward. 84-86 had the 2 vertical bar grilles, and 87 on had the 1 vertical bar, but the corner lights were all the same AFAIK.
