Assuming the owner is a bird hunter (as in "quail"), the idea is to have a moving perch that can see and follow the dogs. When birds are found, the hunter dismounts to flush and shoot the birds.

If it was a really good version, it would have a dog box mounted to the rear floor and the bench seat would be above the box.

A super specimen would have a padded and secure gun rack mounted in a good spot for quick-draw after dismounting and some nice gimballed cup-holders, a locker for shooting glasses, another for extra ammunition, a GPS receiver for tracking the dogs - with a display for the driver and a repeater on the rear of the cab for the riders -, a ladder for climbing up/down and a combo cooler/bar with bottle and glass racks (for after the hunt, of course ).

To get really spiffy, you'd want a trailer to carry the firewood, tent and camp supplies, but if you have all that, you might as well buy a large farm with a nice cabin and pay someone to tend the fire and do the cooking.

And after you've done that for a while, you get smart and go out to eat at a nice restaurant, spending $100/head, but saving much more.
