Well I finally bought another Montero to be my new DD while I work on my toy car. It needs a bit of work, Needs shocks bad, the right front CV joint boot has a small hole and It needs a gauge cluster.
For you guys who have owned SR's for primarily a Daily driven rig, Should I get gas-a-Justs or Monomax? I think I'd like the stiffer ride... but they are a little more expensive.
But the engine and Trans were rebuilt about 85k ago. Runs and shifts quite well. Seems a little slow to kickdown, but I honestly have not driven an automatic in years and my current DD is a 225whp miata. The Front end (new ball joints and tie rod ends) was done a little while after the motor rebuild.
