Looking for a few parts for a rear LSD from an '88 or '89 Starion. I've tried a couple different VINs that I found over at Starquestclub - but no luck with a recognition in ASA Anybody have a VIN (w/factory LSD) that works in ASA they would care to share?

These are the Friction Plate and Disc numbers for the 8" Monte Rear LSD. Can anybody confirm these are the same as the Starion/Conquest 8" rear part numbers?

Plate Friction - MB160879
Disc Friction - MB160880
Disc Spring - MB160886

Correct, not the Starquests were not included on ASA (dont know the reasons), but there was a large PDF file on the Mitsu links site awhile back to give part numbers on various things. On trouble was you had to do it old school....index, then page-by-page.

BTW, I have a spare rear LSD from a parted 88 Quest. Kept it thinking one day I'd put it on the from diff of one my Monty's... I just never got around to it. Anyone interested, PM me an offer. Oh yeah, it's heavy. Jim

I got my clutch disks from a spare unit. From what I remember, the rear montero clutches are larger. The only reason I added extra disks was top get more lockup because I reduced the preload for snow driving.

Stock the Starion LSD is pretty tight.

87 Turbo Intercooled Raider, roller cam, torsen rear diff, LSD front diff, lockup auto with modified converter, V6 brakes, low transfer case gears...
