Not sure but just found this out myself, The starion starter is a 9 tooth starter, the montero is a 8 tooth. I used the At flex plate from my starion swap and re drilled the torque converter bolt holes and it worked. After spacing the starion starter out a 16th of a inch it woked great. Hope this helps
