Hi. Both my 2000 and 2001 Sportages had the same fuel leak. I did not remove any parts of the manifold. I removed the fuel pressure regulator and the hose at the same time. I used hose rated for fuel injection not regular fuel hose. It was probably more difficult to do it this way but I just didn't want to take more of the engine apart than was necessary.
