Looking for this tool at a reasonable cost. Needing to change out my bearings, seals and the backing late which totally rusted out. Tried making my own out of 1/4 " think steel.... it ended up bending. No longer want to waste time and more money getting heat treated stock or cutting another one up and heat treating afterward. I'm hoping someone has one laying around and no longer want or are willing to lend.
PM me. Thanks! Jim

Thanks, but like I said... a REASONABLE price This is the best I found so far at Discount Mitsubishi Parts Even that is still a little high for a piece of plate steel with holes in it. From what I've seen on ebay, they typically go for about $40 or $50 at most. Also trying to get through to SPX direct. Their line is apparently busy this morning.

I purchased a whole bunch of Mitsubishi tools about 12 years ago. The rear axle plate tool was in the mix. You can certainly borrow it. Send me your address via PM and I'll get it to you. Just include a check to cover my shipping when you return it. How does that sound?

Will even send you a UPS and FedEx acct # you can send it on so we dont even have to deal with a check. BTW if anyone else has one to sell I might still be interested in one for the future. Currently repairing the 89 LS, something tells me the 91 RS might also need to be done the same this coming summer.

The rear axle tool is on it's way north to Michigan. I don't see why it can't see Canada too. Touch base with "Mi Mitsu" and see what you two can work out.
I pop in from time to time. Things have been busy the past 9 months: father-in-law passing away, 2 dogs passing away, work, training, structure fires, vehicle accidents with multiple injuries, all night trail searches, medical calls requiring help during transport, bringing in helios for evacuations, etc, etc...
I'm hoping 2013 will slow down some. I need to catch up on some sleep. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/sleeping.gif" alt="" />

long story short i am interested as well but was thinking of making one out of 3/8 plate boostin, sounds as though Mark is find with me forwarding it on to you when I'm done. Send me your info, let me know if you have access to a FedEx, DHL or UPS account number. if not let me know if it's OK to ship collect or we can always work something out via paypal to cover the freight cost to you. Even if it gets here in time for this coming weekend, I might not find time to use it until mid-month or so. let me know your urgency. My rigs already apart ready for the tool, just need to find time to get to it, the other drivers are currently top priortiy. This one's more of a longer term project. Jim
