Here is my progress from yesterday. The AC compressor and bracket was a royal pita. Notice the TB cover is looking pretty bad and there is a cable that runs over the right side valve cover that looks like some heat got to it. I question if that cable was in the correct place as it seem as if it could have been ran around the outside of the intake manifold. I hope to get the new water pump on today at least.

The last bolt was the pita and after an hour I had to go buy a 14mm 1/2 socket and 2inch extension and it came right off.

Sorry I did not get any shots of removing the crank bolt as my camera battery died. The tool rested right on the frame and copper extension work great.




Here is the cable I'm concerned about

TB cover has a broken piece missing and the outside seal looks shot. not a good photo.


Added: Sunday Morning progress. Even with the cam tool I'm have trouble removing the cam bolt. Looks like the left side cam seal is leaking. I thought the water pump was making noise but turns out the tensioner pulley bearing was a little wobbly.
