So the shop said my heads were cracked due to overheating. Its a 90 3.0 sohc. Motor ran great when I got it back from kid, just smoked BAD after warming up, smoke from exhaust manifold and tailpipe, but sounded and ran smooth. Here's the question, should I just get another motor, or would new heads be the choice? 90k on car, no ridges in cylinder, my mech says bottom looks good. Just wondering what you guys think. Also having a hard time sourcing rebuild-able heads from Montys around here, but according to Pick n Pull tons of caravans. Those will work right? Do I need to swap out cams? Thanks everybody

I have a set of rebuildable heads you can have for shipping cost.I'm in VA. They're off an 89 3.0.
