Thanks for the response. The heads are still on the engine, engine is still in the truck. Another board member has offered to rent me the tool...I suppose I'll have to do that. I've ordered the GA317 so I'm going to try it first ; if it doesn't work I'll be renting...and I might be hitting you up for some keepers <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> PM me and I can get them in the mail this week.... You're not too far down the road so they can get there quick. You don't want to lose any keepers. WIthout them, you can't move to the next cylinder (very easily) if one goes shooting across the engine bay when the tool slips off and the spring rapidly decompresses.
