Put all 4 wheels in the air. Shift into 4wdlo. Hand rotate the front driveshaft and feel the front hubs lock up and feel for graunchy stuff as they do. You may have a bad hub lock. Also possible you have a bad front diff, or bad transfer case, and hand rotation may reveal such.


I believe there are no hub locks on the stock gen II. It's all centrally actuated by the CAD (Central Axle Disconnect). <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />
