2) Today I said goodbye to the dearest of friends. The one who brought me to this site nearly ten years ago.



Parting with her has been a nearly two year process of coming to terms. The pic above is from our first trip out, summer 2003 after getting it in May. It was also the first of my ôadventure tripsö that I have taken every year since with my kids (plus others at times).

She went to a great home- a young single mom of three who needed affordable wheels with a third row. And, who dislikes mini vans and loves stick shifts. What more could I ask for in letting go?

It was the longest owned vehicle I have ever had...
