I was at the dealership picking up my big Sport a few days ago and this is what I found sitting next to it when I came out. I thought it was funny to see a couple 'monster trucks' sitting at a dealership. It has CO tags, but I've never seen it on the trails and don't know who drives it.

Who ever it is needs to take off those sway bars to get the most out of his truck.

Did you ask the service desk if they knew? Must be someone that has atleast visited the forum, how else would he have known to cut the rear quarters off similar to what we've been doing on the wire.

Should've left a note on the windshield

No, I was in a hurry and didn't even think to leave a note until I was half way back to the office.

I asked one of the drivers, but he didn't know. I'll be back in at the end of the month so I'll ask the service guys then.

Yea, that's what I figured! It looks like a rolling example of most of the mods everyone here has come up with in the last 10 years.

I've kinda lost track of the last year or so. Before the engine swap it was a little north of 540K. Probably not too much difference since it was sitting waiting for parts almost all of last year. I had 88K on it when the SAS was done. So, somewhere around 460K with the SAS.

I decided to swap to 4.88s from the 5.38s this month. The 5.38s with the 3.5L were just NOT working out. TOOOOOO much torque and TOOOOOO much gearing. 1st blew through the power band before you were barely moving (17-18 mph @4K) and 2nd wasn't much better. It was even worse in Moab - 2500 feet lower than Denver. Picking it up tomorrow morning so I'll get to see how it works out now.

Anyway, the rear axle had two bad axle bearings - the originals from the build - and a leaking pinion seal. That's about the only thing that's really worn out on the SAS. Lasted for quite a while.
