Contemplating installing one of 4crawler lift kits from the reading I've done it sounds like a relatively straight forward install.
But curious what needs to be extended when the kit is installed - brake lines, fuel filler hose, wiring, etc.... ?
Thanks for any insights.

Nothing needs to be extended but the brake lines do need to be 'adjusted' at certain points.
Have you checked the FAQ post for a thread on the procedure?

Did check the FAQ and read a couple of articles on the expedition portal but still find it hard to believe nothing needs to be extended . I know you've had yours lifted for quiet some time. So, I'll take your word for it. thanks, ~ Jon

Only thing I had to do was tweak the brake lines coming through the front fender wells and crank the torsion bars a bit to help with tire clearance. On the 'to do' list is to notch out part of the center console where the 4x4 shifter comes through to gain a little clearance. The bend in the shifter interferes a bit after the body lift. Took me about 1.5 hours start to finish by myself to do the lift. There is a brace in the middle of the truck underneath that I used a floor jack and some scrap wood to lift each side of the truck to install the lift blocks.

I had no issues when I installed mine - I only had to adjust the front hard brake lines where they pass through the front aprons,

Wahoooo!!! The 4 Crawler 2 inch body lift kit arrived today! Nice! The install isn't bad at all. Just a bit time consuming. Take your time, have a beer and in a couple hours she'll be all set.

Anyone have any tips or tricks for jacking up the truck body? Thanks , Jon
