As far as I know I will have a truck of 3 which includes Toasty and Claytk riding over with me. And Lordtrunks will be riding with John H.
5 of us AZers in 2 trucks. As far as I know there isn't anybody else. 5 wrenchers! I'm sure they just want to come see the fruits of a year's worth of blood (busted knuckles), sweat (AZ right?) and tears ("Do we really need to give this rig to Lloyd? I want it for myself!").

I'm treating this trip as a vacation. I hope not to turn a wrench at all cost. This is what my 2 passengers are for though... Kidding. And actually really only 3 AZ wrenchers cause John H doesn't do much wrenching. And claytk, we try not to let him touch the tools and when we do he needs a supervisor watching his every move . Just sayin.

That is ok, we can put them on the rock stacking crew
I have a ton to do still, hard to believe how fast time is flying! We should come up with a critical parts and tools inventory soon.
1996 SR From the Area 51 Skunk Works. 37"BFG Tires, 5" lift, Rock Track 4:1 Case, Tom Woods Drive Shafts, Oasis Air, Front ARB, lifted gas tank, T-max winch and lots of stuff that cost too much.

How do you want to split up tools and parts. I would assume most crucial parts would be steering parts and front CV's. I have Tie rods, a pretty decent assortment. I don't think cv's will be a huge issue but could be. Especially with 37's. I pack fairly light as it is on tools. When it comes to montero's you only need 10's 12's 14's 17's 19's 21's 22's and 24's to fix most things. Some 8's as well I guess. I've got a decent socket set I can bring with some included wrenches plus a pouch of wrenches.

I have a massive, well prepared set of tools, so I can bring the bulk of them, as well as grinding, cutting and welding gear. So I can skip the tie rods and grab a pair of CVs' for a Gen II?
How about Gen I parts. Also nuts and bolts, I have some but I know you guys have more. Nothing more frustrating then needing the right bolt. Remember the one we had to track down on an AZ trail? AND DID

yeah thats no fun. Gen 2 SR cv's is what we need. I'm sure somewhere we have a TON of gen 1 cv's to bring. Tie rods can be interchanged to get us through the trip with. I've used gen 2 tierods on my gen 1 and I gave adam a gen 1 tierod to use on his gen 2 I've also swapped through spare sport tie rods as well. All seem to work the same. Everybody may want to think about a spare centerlink just incase too. At this point I think there is only one gen 1 going. I'm taking an SR and you and carlos have SR's. Ray also has an SR and I believe he is going as well. I probably wont worry about tools to much then just a small pile of sockets and wrenches for back up. Allen wrenches?
Is there anybody else that I'm missing?
4 SR's 1 Gen 1

Ok. I will look for CVs and a Centerlink if no one has one.
