Can you check the plug going into the back of the radio? I had one that wasn't clicked in. It took a few years for it to finally work loose enough to loose power. Once I clicked it back in, all was well.


I forgot to mention...the lights on all the *buttons* on the radio light up with the rest of the dash. But the LCD readout on the radio does nothing, whether or not I press the PWR button.

Would this rule out the plug in the back of the radio? I'll look up how to get the radio trim off and pull the head unit out so I can make sure it's plugged in all the way. I hope it's something that simple! Otherwise, I'm gonna cross my fingers I can find another head unit!

If anyone has a spare head unit (has the cassette deck with CD changer control and aux jack), let me know! But hopefully this one will work, it's soooo clean! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/scared.gif" alt="" />
