What I did.. My 01 seats seemed low for me. I placed my hand over my head and touched the hard top and decided I had plenty of room up there to raise my seats.
So I had on hand some 2x2x1/4 which I sawed into lengths of 2 inches. Then I drilled a proper sized hole in the center of all of them. I took one of the extracted bolts to Tractor Supply and purchased their HARDEST, STRONGEST bolts 2 inches longer than the factory ones.
Now I have my seats 2 inches taller and they are MUCH more comfortable to sit and ride in.
An added plus is it is a lot easier to SHOOT out the window from the taller seats....
