Not sure I totally understand, but you shouldn't be able to start your Sporty at all without depressing the clutch, provided you haven't bypassed the switch. Some vehicles have a clutch cancel function to allow you to start in gear without depressing it, but not ours. If you're saying you can do this on level ground, I'm not sure why.

You could add a bypass switch for off-road use, but I would not totally eliminate the clutch switch as it is a safety feature. I would recommend that if you do this, you use a momentary switch so it does not accidentally get left on. Offroad, it's a good feature to have at times.
