Getting the Wheeling Fever
SO got a can of MAF cleaner, CRC brand, and on there is says dont use on Karman-Vortex MAF, and not to use on Mitsubishi's.
SO the question is, Does anyone know if my montero SR has a Karman vortex MAF

Body Damage is Cool
The Gen I Montero MAF Sensor has some cardboard stuff in it. That may be why you can't use cleaners. I have never looked at the Gen II MAF in my 95. Your idle mis issues Especially when cold are probably linked to the extremely complicated almost impossible to seal or keep sealed intake on these Butterfly DOHC engines. Also the idle control motor goes bad on the throttle body and idle won't kick up right when cold starting.
