Getting the Wheeling Fever
I have searched and called part stores for this part, the closest I got to was ACDELCO part number PVS-120 which they don't have. O'Reileys auto has to check with corporate to see if they can get it special order from another company....what is with these people? Why isn't there a part of this engine when you can find parts for others? Is there a replacement some of you guys have used? The part below, I saw it EBAY, looks exactly like my piece...what is the difference????

I know it's MOPAR, but seriously, it could be a twin to the piece I have on now, except mine was black. It crumbled and I didn't see anything internal showing a limit on anything pertaining to engine requirements...

No pic but sounds like it. When I worked at Advance we could get them no problem. Had to look it up in a paper catalog. Most parts guys nowadays are working for minimum wage and joe's off the street without much knowledge. Make em get out the books, you'll find it.

that part was used on lots of engines, and still should be available in the aftermarket, too...

Thanks for the help. I don't think that piece is the one, as it says Temperature censor. wouldn't that be for the gauge in the car? There are three coming out or thermostat outlet, Though mine is temperature related causing the vacuum, the company had no picture and the auto store has it for special order for 70bucks. so that can't be it. The Mitsu parts guy stated, "I am so happy they stopped putting these damn vacuum switches on the car." They are determinately a rarity. we found a engine part number oMD101458, but that was the third gauge with has THREE ports and I need the one with TWO ports. I am still looking. I saw a parts number in the cad program, it was for the 88 mighty max...same engine though...still looking. Thanks for the help.

Correction, the Mitsubishi ASA program, said PNC 12416p part number MD110272 thermos valve emission control. I would think this was on other cars also, but these guys at the auto store..well yeah...
