The cargo compartment lamp switch is in the cargo door latch assembly. If you can push the door further closed after it's latched then the striker needs to be adjusted to hold the door more tightly closed.

Does pushing the door further closed after it's latched turn off your cargo lamp? If it does then you'll fix your problem with a simple adjustment, if not then you'll probably need to replace the cargo door latch assembly.
