I'm curious about why you'd want to change it from the way the factory had it set up. It's designed to tell you when the locker is engaged, rather than just tell you that you've flipped the switch for it.

Because in order to get my car put back together, I had to cut the pin off the switch, which means the switch isn't a switch anymore - it's just a drain plug. It was getting dark and I didn't have time to remove the diff from the carrier again...had to get the truck finished. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Pump on, unless something breaks, pretty much means locker engaged, so that's close enough for me to remove my now-permanent blinky light.
