I wouldn't run different gears. I will replace the gears in both my stock rear axle and the Dana 44 I will use for the swap. Most of the forums I have seen for this upgrade all run 4.88's.

For the Dana you can only run 5.13 or 4.88, for the toyota you can only run 4.88 or 5.29.
If you want to have matching gears, you have to run 4.88's, or swap both axles to the same type (both toyota or both dana).

Go 4.88 then. 37's are IMHO too big for 4.88's on a stock motor, but if you see a supercharger in your future it will work OK.
