I had this problem concerning the seat-belt light when I first got my 90. It had a Cobra security system. I pulled it out (Harder then it looked). The battery died that night due to a cutoff that was pulling power. After a jump and 30 min tracking the cut-off my seat-belt light stayed on. Mine was caused by the cut-off being routed to the seat-belt supply and when the batt died it somehow left that light on. I accidentally fixed it by replacing the driver wire all the way to the dash. So the diode answer may be the correct one. After rereading my post..... I may not have contributed much to the conversation. sorry, I tend to ramble. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />
