I have been trying to get my 89 Gen 1 V6 running and keep running into problems. Now the left side camshaft sprocket has alot of play in it. I took it off and the recess that the camshaft goes into is 1/16" of an inch too big. The camshaft end measures 1 1/4" the recess in the sprocket measures 1 5/16", Does anyone have a spare sprocket they could measure to see if the shaft I have is incorrect, it was changed, or if I need a new sprocket. Any help is appreciated, any suggestions for my situation will also be appreciated.
