Was going to replace the rear shocks on my 87 Raider 4cyl and of course the (butter)bolt/stud broke off on where the shock mounts to the bottom side.... My thought was to drill a hole where the stud was and mount the shock with a bolt, or I could weld on a new stud since the Dodge dealer says they dont make that part anymore... as Im looking under there I notice the leaf springs are sagging badly and 1 on each side have cracks threw them, where can I find new leaf springs I guess is my question? I read threw the archives and see some people use old toyota ones,, dont really want to jack with retro fitting them, but If I have to...Thanks METALMOVER

With adequate photograpy, I can have the wife or kids pull some parts. I have springs mounted to an axle that would provide easy plucking of parts, out of 87 Raider. Though I exist away from my parts, there are still methods and means available.
