The pump is extremely simple to rebuild - it'll take longer to get it on & off the truck than to rebuild it.

There is a very detailed steering gearbox write-up on the Starquest website - I haven't compared the Starquest and Montero boxes side by side but I'm pretty sure that they're very similar in construction, so it would probably make a good starting point.
