So I bought this rig with AC having been charged by the stealer...ya-NO. Like an idiot I fiddled with the AC Switch, that I noticed wouldn't stay engaged thinking this was the culprit. After 4-5 times of pushing and holding it in to see if I could get the clutch on the compressor to engage the dern switch decided to break (explode) completely into a few pieces. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

So now I am looking for:
A. A new switch and
B. still stuck trying to diagnose my AC issues after installing said new switch.

I have been to Rock Auto and no switch. Any of you got a donor? And following that your advice on diagnosing the AC issue or just take it to a 'qualified technician' and have them tell me what it needs to get it running? <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/baby.gif" alt="" />

Without pressure gauges it's pretty much a shot in the dark guess unless you know the system is up to full charge.

Hot wire the compressor from the battery positive terminal while the engine is running to check operation.
