Yah, Idle was off, replaced IAC, then stuff went haywire found bad ECU. So, I'll put in this new ECU and should correct the issues. Thank you all for the help. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />

Before you replace the new ECU confirm the IAC is still good. The ECU repair places mentioned that a bad ecu can make the IAC go bad and vice versa.

The procedure to check the IAC is in the FSM. I don't have access to mine right or I'd post the process here.

I think its a chicken and the egg thingy...

What kills what or even if one is killing the other ...

The people I've spoke to in the ECM Repair World.. Its more of running a bad IAC for a long time that kills the ECM ... Not like the IAC dieds and zaps the ECM instantly.. I was told the IAC will short to ground is what does it..

I've "me" have never come across a IAC that was shorted to ground ... Not saying it cant happen,, true me ...Just I've never come across it ...
