Hello all. New here, but have owned a 2001 sportage since it was new. I have been very happy to recently discover that the parts seem to be going down in price. I've been using the kia as a daily driver since the wife got her new ride. Started fixing it up recently with the intent of selling it to her brother. After starting to work on it and doing some research though I now really want to keep it myself and use it as a toy to play with. I see some real possibilities in the sportages, kind of like the suzuki samurai turned into a very popular cheap 4X4 alternative to Jeeps. Anyway, I look forward to sharing information with all of you.
