Definitely interested inthe upper AArm as mine is basically maxed out with the 50 mm extended forks and 40 mm lift inthe Springs.

Can you provide more detail on the Arm?

its is a tubular arm with heim joints connecting to the frame with a spherical bearing that connects to the spindle. at this point it works great if you were running without the cv axle. but im sure we are all looking for a 4x4 setup.so until i have a modified set of cv axles finished the travel will be the same as stock

But I kinda like the underdog status IFS still seems to have. Then you mop up on a trail the rest of the group you are with said "no way" on and it's all smiles.
Plus whatever you come up with will be pretty near bolt on and go (after an alignment of course).
SAS is awesome but requires the $$$ and the extra fab.

Question on the upper arms. Would the joints be replaceable?
I only ask as things like heims and such could wear over time. But I'm also not in the loop on what new versions might be out there that might have better dirt resistance.

yeah the heims are thread in and the spherical joint is press in with a snap ring really easy to replace and not overly expensive. but they should last a lot longer than the stock set up. should have it on the car in the next few weeks for some testing.

Nice Kia Sid, I love the coilovers. I'm glad this forum is is still growing and it look as strong as ever. I sill stop by a bit but don't allways post. I miss my Kia but I am still loving my TJ. My boy is still talking about getting a 2 door Sportage so I could be a regular again someday.

the joints are the same ones we run in baja and will last two or three seasons of racing so if you got the stock ones to last 16 years you will never need to replace our joints they will outlast your kia.

Might be a silly question however does the coilovers replace the suspension fork as well? Can't really tell in the photos.

also when the "kit" is released will it include bilstein rear shocks and will they be fitted in the standard position or be relocated as a \ / with a new crossmember as described previously for extra travel?
I have RAV 4 Old Man Emu shocks fitted at the moment which are slightly longer than the usual RAV 4 shocks. Am experiencing axle tramp when doing silly things like spinning the back wheels on grass/dirt (big kid at heart). It never used to do this with the original setup so think my rear shocks are too soft. I want to fix the issue as it is quite unnerving when it happens on my kids will be driving the Sporty, but as we all know aftermarket support is practically non existant for our rigs

sorry for all he questions but after years of research and sourcing parts it is incredible someone is now doing aftermarket support for the Kia instead of bastardising for want of a better word other items not actually designed for the Sporty.
