I am considering a public service ad campaign. Something along the lines of:

Pay your fair share... IRS employees need line dancing lessons...

Dave,

Did you download it or are you having trouble figuring out how to do that?

thanks for all your help, Ray. I know I have to be frustrating to you. I'm about helpess on this computer. I don't think this thing would take a download even if I knew what that was. Something heavy clunks around inside it , and it is much slower than dialup. I quit useing "explorer"?? and used Google Chrome , worked faster for awhile, anyway.
It's fear gonna be back to library computer real soon, until I win the lotto or my daughter mails me another half shot laptop.

No, not frustrating. I know you're trying so that makes it worth it for me...
So Dave, go here (http://adblockplus.org/en/chrome) using your browser and press the green Install for Chrome button.

This popup window should appear with an ADD and CANCEL button. Press the ADD button.
[Linked Image]

It will begin downloading the app (you can see the download progress in the lower left of your browser window) and once it's downloaded it will automatically install it for you.

Once installed it will show the window below confirming completion of the installation.
[Linked Image]

And on your browser you'll now see the following new AdBlock button that looks like a stop sign (circled in red below).
[Linked Image]

The number 4 in the Stop Sign Button tells me Adblock has blocked 4 adds on this page.

If you click on that button you'll get a popup screen/window giving you a more detailed status on what Adblock is doing/has done...

I think the rest is pretty self explanatory but feel free to ask more questions on it. While I'm far from an expert, I'll try and help. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />
