You will lose power without the resonators. Those are helmholtz resonators designed to raise the air pressure at the TB. I bet they are worth about 4-5hp. This is more than you will gain with a k&n nonfilter when new, and lots more than the k&n and worn out rings from all the grit that gets by the "filter", not to mention the oil contamination on the maf from the k&n oil in the filter. Add a prefilter bonnet to the k&n and the obstruction is worse than a clean stock filter.
