OK, what's the deal with the Optima battery ads? How do I get rid of them?

That stuff is on all forums that are free ones anyway. It's how they support the forum costs. I don't have to see them however. Currently I run adblock on Google Chrome. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

Yeah, it wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't the SAME ad over and over and over...

Thanks for the tip! It seems to be working. Not to complain, but this is the only forum that I'm a member of that has these type of ads. If we're going to have these type of ads here it seems as though we should at least be able to easily post pictures without an outside link or editing shenanigans.

I've been procrastinating a bit. Scott wants to help with the VSS job, so now I get to wait until he is available on a weekend! I purchased a new tool and it arrived today. Schley Universal Valve Spring Compressor (SCH91400B). Got it off of Amazon for $115 shipped. Considering all of the broken Mitsus that find their way to my house, its about time I bought my own vss tool!

Talked to OME today about which spring they recommend for my needs. They said the regular duty rear spring will be good for my loaded truck with camper. I'll be ordering the new suspension soon.

Does anyone have a pic of a 2.5gen with a 1.25"OME lift on 33's? I'm dying to know what my truck is going to look like!

In regards to the running boards, my wife and kids use them a lot but I don't think I want to keep them with the 33's. I think I've found a compromise. I notice I can remove the skins and keep the skeleton attached. This will clear the wheel wells, but keep the steps out the side. Has anyone tried this? Thanks for looking.

Thanks for looking.

You can get rock sliders and get them mounted out a little and put that textured tape on top so when the sliders are wet, no one slips off them as thy try getting into the montero

I've never had that problem with mine. I paint all mine with bedliner.

OK tonight is the night! Gonna start the VSS project after softball tonight and hopefully finish up before Sunday morning. Scott, I'll be in the garage all day tomorrow. Stop by when it's convenient for you. Stay as long, or as little as you wish. There are 24 seals to do, so you won't miss anything.

Ack, I loathe the VSS job!

On a brighter note, I just ordered my rear suspension. Next weekend should be much more fun!
