Congrats. Glad to see Scottie told about the wire. I got a chance to wheel with Scott here on the east coast. That 97 kept up pretty well with my rig.

Take good care of that Montero, it was Scott's first love haha

I think that might have at least something to do with the driver; I'm completely new to 4x4 rigs. Still, it will definitely be more capable than my 2wd truck haha.

So far I'm doing my best, I am catching up on fluid changes and other little maintenance things. I also got the windows tinted, every little bit of heat rejection helps here in AZ!

After maintenance things, I gotta try to figure out why the tach isnt working!! It came to life for maybe 5 minutes of my drive to work about 20 minutes into the drive, but never worked again after that. I see from Scotties old posts that he has already replaced the transistor (no clue what or where that is lol), the actual tach gauge, and part of the signal wire. Maybe it needs a whole new wire? <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />
