I think i did the shift selector o ring once before, may have been NP231 but it's probably the same procedure. I took off the shift linkage, removed a little washer and spacer from underneath it and dug the seal out with a seal pick. Cleaned the bore and installed a new o ring, replaced the washer, spacer and linkage, done deal. Took me a bunch of seconds.
