Till I find a proper roof rack here is how I'm rolling.


As a follow up to exp portal post. Instead of the ladder / supply rack I got a hold of some A1 rain gutter yakima towers. These fit nicely except they are too short. I did manage to find extension blocks that will make it plenty high. I'm going to use coated gas pipe for the rails as they are plenty strong and the same size as the yakima. Probably stronger than the yakima. I'll put end caps on each end to finish it off. The pipe I found is 27$ cut to size. That's at lowes. I bet at a pipe supply it's cheaper so I'll check that route before purchase. Ordered a new gasket for the leaky pan. I am going at it for the last time before I drop it off at a mechanic that guarentees their work. Once done ill address the cv / axle. If all pans out the POS will be perfect for my endeavors for the time being. I picked up another kayak so my lady has one also. If I get my nuances solved, ill start to focus on little things. Lights, interior. TINT. lol be stoked when I can start attending meetings again.
