On a Gen 1 (2.6), does anybody have pictures, drawings, or a diagram showing what and how to upgrade the stock distributor? I found a couple references from Fast Eddie, Mr Ray, and others, but I think they were discussing upgrading a 6 on a Gen 1.

From what some of the posts I found, the upgrade can be done and was discussed, but I didn't find anything past, present, or FAQ's that addressed it (if it can be done at all)?.. so I was hoping somebody had something to share?

There were posts that mentioned that it was done to a 6, but nothing about a 4, so after searching I found http://www.msdignition.com/instructions/Products/Tech_Info/frm28371_coil%20compability.pdf... that provides a lot of information but I don't have a clue what really works with what(electrical stuff)!!!

Since there's so many personal views about MSD, ACCEL, Mallory, and other manufacturers, there's a lot to consider especially when I don't know what setup would work best for a stock 2.6 (or if it can be upgraded)?
