 1990 isuzu amigo issues

Hello guys, I just bought this amigo. It runs pretty good but it has a big exhaust leak which I know how to fix. But there is one thing I cant seem to figure out, When slowing down or coming to a stop the front end moans. I thought it was just the brakes but when I turn the wheel when slowing it gets louder. Any suggestions as to what it may be?

Are you certain it's not 2 different issues?
What happens if you're at a stop and turn the wheel? Moaning might indicate the steering pump.
Then try slowing down while going straight.
Slowing down (pedal breaking) -- any moaning
Slowing down (engine breaking) -- any moaning?
Stick? Automatic?
Stick -- engine breaking in gear, or in neutral?
The board is pretty quiet nowadays, but anytime posting, more details will get you a better chance at an answer. You might try on a general maintenance board instead of this isuzu specific board.

Thanks, It is a 5 speed. At a stop and turning the wheel there is no moaning. Only when coming to a stop. makes me think that there is an issue with the brakes. Maybe the front end need lubed up. I dont know I just bought it.
Why did this board go so quiet?

The manual is saying that it might be the rear diff. Anyone have issues like your vehicle moaning?
Also, are the lifters adjustable on my 2.6 motor?

Yes, the valves are adjustable and need to be done every 10,000 or so or you will probably have problems.
