It looks like everyone has a different idea for which one to 'kick off the island' - no two people picked the same one!


I kicked off the "Something Different" for this exercise because it's really... really a long drive. I'll definitely do it if everyone else is in but it's farther than leaving the state, because you have to almost leave the state then backtrack many miles on dirt roads to get to the good stuff.

So, I made a decision matrix thinger to see where we stand... UNF!

Anyway it just compares the trails/campsites/distances with the different criteria from the polls in this thread, based on the votes people put up. Right now "WWJD for a Klondyke" is winning because it's remote, there's cool scenery and there's a tough 4x4 trail to get in there plus the campsite is pretty good for accommodating us all.

That doesn't mean we have to use that nerdy chart to make our decisions, it's just me playing around while I was in a phone-in meeting at work.
