This is awesome! I wish we did stuff like this round here.

Well... you kinda could, right? All it takes is hanging out and inviting people to do stuff...

FYI - I would really, really like to ride with you guys one of these days.

Some of us roll around at other times, than just once a year... like this weekend I'm going to be down south wrecking up grizzly trail on 1" tires, and then a couple days later on Wednesday through the weekend I'm headed out with Captain Delicious to SUPER SECRET LOCATION PLACE for several days of digging his bald-tired F150 out of the mud while lightning shoots us in the junk.

Then in August we're going to dork around the Superstitions a bit more, September is WASTE GAS GOING TO UTAH TO SEE ALL THE "ROAD CLOSED" AND "OFF LIMITS" AND "F^#K OFF" SIGNS EVERYWHERE THAT USED TO BE OPEN, and then apparently October we're doing this here AZ Crew campout...

We used to be all organized and do monthly meetings and a monthly trail ride that we would photograph and plaster on the internets. Somewhere we lost that organization skill and the ability to post up anything really. The WrenchWench here has been resparking the whole meetings and doing stuff as a group thing lately. Good times

FYI, fire restrictions have been lifted as of this morning in four National Forests in AZ.

Somehow there's always enough time for boozing and wrenching though

Part of that could be to drink away the pain of all the downed trucks.

Yes WrenchWench we know there's 1" tire wheeling going on like every other weekend. I get my random ass All-wheeling on at least every other week but it's not the same for getting everyone together for some wheeling in a Subaru

"Hey guys i'm going explorin' around Granite Dells in my wifes Subaru on Sunday" Just doesn't have the same draw as "Gonna go drive Montero's on Table Mesa trails" followed by some of theses emoticons afterwards

Where I'm going this weekend is like the harder, more sexy version of Charoleau Gap... straight up the face of the mountain and only gets driven a few times a year because it's still secret enough to not be closed. Got ? I've turned around on this trail every time I've tried it so far... and might turn around again if it gets too silly.

Then Wednesday night, Captain Delicious and I are going out to run a muddy canyon on the (far) East side... ain't no Subaru territory there either. We plan to camp 4 nights, including 2 at the place being described here:

So.. any further discussion on October?

Looks like the 3rd weekend is our target... I refined the Big Nerdy Decision Matrix a bit - it's here if you want to nerd out http://sdrv.ms/12zb2vj

We don't have to USE the matrix, and everything in it is up for debate... just keeping the conversation going

I heard the date's been set for this one, but I don't see it. I've got the Prescott Rally the first weekend and V is shooting weddings the following three. If I'm gonna go, I'll need to arrange a sitter for the little one. What's the date, again?
